Day 1 of my 17 day diet

Well, day 1 is over and I'm in to day 2 and I haven't died yet so I guess I'm successful so far. I stayed on the eating plan very well. I drank green tea which I'm not really fond of and ate fish for dinner. I also tried Kefir for the first time. Its actually pretty good. It tastes like a yogurt smoothie. High in probiotics which is a key to this diet. I wasn't too hungry until late at night when I was already in bed so I don't think I was starving myself by any means. I have a lot of storage from my camping trip if you get what I mean. End result - I lost 3.5lbs the first day. I'm happy, but I know most of it is just the quick fluid gain that I had camping but oh, well - that needs to come off too!
This morning I'm eating egg beaters with onions, peppers and asparagus. Not too far off from a normal breakfast for me so thats good. My problem is that I'm leaving this afternoon on a business trip. I'm going to Phoenix (I'll lose about 5 pounds in sweat - its 109 with humidity it feels like 116!) for 3 days so I need to take clients out for lunch and dinner, eat from the hotel, avoid all alcohol.....all while I'm in an unfamilar surrounding. UGH! Oh well. I'll just buck up and do it. I'm thinking of sneaking a few apples in to my suitcase for backup.
So, that said - my next weigh in will be Saturday Morning. Hopefully I'm down at least another 3.5lbs. That would be AWESOME! Please send strong and skinny vibes my way. I NEED to do this!
