Wow, August has already arrived...before you know it, it will be 2012!

Had a wonderfully relaxing day yesterday. The sun was shining and our time with Garry's brother was great. We sat around on the back deck enjoying the fact that there were no demands on our time.
Drove Lyle to the airport in the late afternoon and then stopped at Kelsey's for a light supper before heading back home. Garry doesn't have to go in to work today, so we are going to spend today ticking some items off the "to do" list. I've got a hair appointment at 9am and after that it will be full speed ahead at getting some things done.
The ceiling is half painted in the LR/DR and we will finish that off today so that we can begin moving things back in there. The Reno crew is supposed to come back today also to finish the reconstruction of the basement...things are moving right along.

My Positives:
Garry and I have today off together and plan on tackling the to do list.
Such a great visit with Lyle.

Picked some peas from my garden yesterday...oh they are so good.
Hair cut this morning...finally!
Being alive.

I tried again to load pictures but any of the ones that Lyle took come up as being too large a file and I can't load them. I can however, load ones that I took with my phone! Very strange. Anyway, I was able to load them all on to my facebook page.
