After all the mental drama about missing my workout routine while visiting the family, I got everything in today without too many problems. Hmmm, this is only day one, and a LOT can still go wrong. How's that for positivity?
Managed my morning cardio before I left home, all normal. Then there was the four hour drive with a nasty side track to Dairy Queen - I said MINI blizzard, she heard and made MEDIUM blizzard, and I was too distracted to notice until too late. Ah, well, I only ate half.
Five hours later I set up my Wii at mom & dad's, figure out which buttons to push to make it show up on the screen (funny, it's not usually that shade of green), and get my afternoon workout done.
Well, a short workout.
Well, a bunch of game playing and a little working out.
It was active, what do you want from me?
Even with the DQ debacle I'm still in my calorie range (And BTW, what's with the Tracker adding 100-something calories to my daily range?), but now I'm starving. I'm a late night eater - definitely should get to sleep earlier. I even turned down ice-cream tonight. And that got me the "who are you, and what are you doing in my daughter's body" look from dad.
I will work out this week, no matter how weird I look to my family. They should be used to it by now!
