Wow, is it really August tomorrow?! I have been experiencing some big changes. On the fitness front, the scale is FINALLY starting to move again. Ever since around March-ish when we started the conversion process at work, I have been uber-stressed, and my weight has reflected it. Turns out I still REALLY struggle with stress eating. I have a long way to go in dealing with that. I am finally getting back to where I was before the conversion. I am getting there though, so that is what truly matters.
Wedding plans are going well. I can't believe in ten weeks my sister will be a married woman! We have our dresses picked out. The menu planned. everything is booked. We just need to light a fire under the groom's butt to get his guys some tuxes! My dress fits a little looser these days, but not too bad.
On the work front, you may remember my frustrations with the negativity that was a persistent problem at work. Well, things are about to change. One of the ladies has transferred to a different branch and my department (bookkeeping) was basically eliminated because of the conversion to an almost totally automated system. So starting tomorrow, my job will be completely different. I am looking at this as a good thing. I said I wanted a change and this may be what I needed. Either it will be fine, or it will push me to pursue other avenues. Only time will tell right now, but I am going into with a positive outlook. Its all I can do, until I see how the pieces fall.
I have jumped back into my HM training. 55 days until HM #2. I have a full Fall race schedule. One that will make me a Half Fanatic by the end of October, and I am REALLY excited about all my upcoming races. Each one is VERY special. HM #2 in September will be my DH's first HM. HM #3 is one step closer to HF status. HM #4 will be the Haunted Hustle in Middleton, WI with Laurie. I want to have an awesome (and functional) running costume because this will be my HF qualifying race. In November I will have HM #5 in Cocoa, FL at the Space Coast Marathon. We will already be in WDW, and laurie and I are going to take some time out of a family vacation to participate in that race. I am all registered and ready to have some AWESOME races with my AWESOME Running Coach!
I have a lot of work ahead of me. I am starting n a new path, and I am not 100% sure where it will lead me, but I am looking up and forward, and that is the best I can do right now!
I think that is all for now!
