Wearing PJ's to Grocery Shop?

Sunday, July 31, 2011

I had to smile this morning, as I came out of the grocery store and saw yet another shopper entering in her pj's. This has become more common than you'd imagine. It lead me to wonder if anyone else lives in a town where this happens.

There are also a lot of people who wheel home the shopping carts and leave them all over the neighborhood. (I'm talking tons of them.) Isn't this special? (smiling)

Have a wonderful day.

Considering what some people wear "out" I think I'd rather see them in pj's. Seriously! Have you seen what some people wear out in public? Makes you wonder if they have mirrors in their homes.

As for the carts, I actually like the places where you have to put a quarter in to get the cart because then it forces people to not just leave the cart there, but to put them back instead of watching them glide across the parking lot into other parked cars. Inconvenient? Can be. But not as bad as the lazy lumps who feel they are entitled to just leave them "wherever".

I haven't found a lot of shopping carts about, but I know that during the school year, some of the moms seem to have a uniform of PJ's. Even at 2:30pm for pickup. I'm often surprised by it.

No shopping carts here, but the roads aren't real waljable either. Which is frustrating, because one of the grocery stores is within walking distance.

I used to see it more often than I do now. And back then it was mostly teens. I have trouble going into the grocery store in my gym clothes, which are pretty discreet!

Many young people where PJ's shopping. Because I live in the country I don't see shopping carts around. However, in more populated areas they are all over, and the street people use them for there bags.

I wouldn't do it but have seen others. Probably better than some bloke in just short pants.

I haven't seen anybody in the grocery store in their pj's but I don't think it's appropriate.
People in our neighborhood like to leave shopping carts on our lawn. Doesn't make us very happy.

OMG I see shopping carts all over the place mostly at bus stops! As for the pj's it is a very common thing and it doesnt even matter what time of day it is or even what day it is...i think they have become the new "lounge pants" lol

I work in a convenience store and see a tremendous amount of people wearing their pjs. Thank goodness there aren't any holes in the wrong places!

Haven't seen anyone taking the shopping cart home. However, I see lots of people shopping, walking, etc. in their pj's. Not me. Just can't do it.
