Awesome post. I wish I had a camera. Good luck with P3. keep an eye on your scale when you eat the peaches. they are higher in sugar than most fruit. I never had a problem with most fruits except watermelon and peaches.
Jibbie I'm confused about the fruit comment. What did I say to make you mention that? Apples are generally a trigger food for me. I've been eating them in the VLCD portion but I don't intend to eat them regularly in P3 I don't think. As I've said before I HATE grapefruits. No way in the world will I ever buy one much less eat one. Thanks though! I'll stick with my berries. I also bought peaches.
I know what pork rinds are. I've eaten them before. I like them. I know they aren't nutritious. They live in the chip aisle for crying out loud! But if a "legal" snack stops me from eating an "illegal" snack then that's good. When we go on vacation the hotel will have popcorn in the lobby every day. My husband will eat some. If I can then chose the pork rinds then that is better isn't it?
Have one or two apples and one or two grapefruit for P3. The apples have fiber and are filling. The "sour" taste of the grapefruit helps cut your appetite. Yes, a little bag of nuts is VERY high in calories, and that is one of the things people have a problem with as they overeat them. I'd be very careful. You do know that pork rinds are not a good source of protein, so they count as "fats." They are crunchy. Make sure to drink your water on P3, especially if you are traveling.
Sorry about the four hour appointment! Yeah new stylists are tough, they don't know you...you don' t know them but the color looks good! Congrats on the progress thus far and glad you'll be able to share war stories soon with me on P3! Soon you will be able to have a sandwich with two revolution rolls - believe it me, it'll all be worth it during the first bite. I don't even think I breathed when I ate that first sandwich LOL. I think I just inhaled that thing sooo sooo good.
Congrats! Seriously! Enjoy P3. HIDE the Melba in P3 though haha It's a no no. Also just a reminder, be sure to read the ingredients for the BBQ pork rinds to be sure there's no sugar in it. I know what you mean about bread and sandwiches though . . . I'm looking forward to that down the road!
