I met with my midwife again almost a month ago. My thyroid numbers did come back normal, but she made the decision to treat me based on my symptoms. I took a 1/2 dose for the first 4 days and then a full dose since then. Within a week, almost all of my fatigue was gone...and I'm still in my first trimester! That's like a miracle in itself! But really, this wasn't just first trimester fatigue I'm talking about. Been there, experienced that 4 times already. This was just really bad. It's so exciting to not fall asleep in my soup all the time!

My energy has also increased quite a bit, which is a huge bonus for me! I trying to faithfully walk twice around our block every day, which is one mile. I find myself getting winded partway around, but that's ok. I know it'll improve. My goal is to walk it twice in the morning and twice in the evening, for 2 miles per day.

I've also dropped 5 pounds in the last month. Now, I'm certainly not trying to lose weight, not in this season of my life. That will have to wait til February. But, was I ever excited to see the scale below 200...consistently! Currently I'm 197.8, which I haven't seen since being pregnant with my son. Certainly no complaints from here.

I'll begin my 2nd trimester Thursday, which seems to have come awfully quickly! So, I'm excited to see what the rest of this pregnancy holds for me!
