The Lockout is over - ready to make my game plan

Friday, July 29, 2011

I am not a football fanatic but I do like to watch football. One thing I know about the game is that each week the teams have to make a game plan. They have to plan their defense and their offense. They have to push themselves and work hard to make it to the Super Bowl. It does not happen over night. My journey is a lot like the game of football. I have my coaches (my SP friends and community), my cheerleaders (my friends and family), my game plan both offense and defense (my actions and whatever the world out there throws my way), with the ultimate goal of making it to the super bowl (to become the healthiest me possible). I'm taking it one week at a time and pushing myself to the limits and beyond, adjusting the game plan when I find something does not quite work out. I'll keep you posted as to the weekly scores. Let's go team!! emoticon

Great job on your first blog! I think this feature will be one of my favorites on this site. Here is where we can "get real" with ourselves and really gain a ton of insights. I see a lot of AHA moments in my future as I write my blogs and read others' blogs for inspiration. You GO SPARKFRIEND! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Yay, you did your first blog post! I love it, great analogy.

I just hope I have more successes than my team, the Detroit Lions, ha ha! Maybe this will be their year and mine. Hope the same for you!!!
