Small Roadblock

I am a little discouraged right now. I went to the doctor because I was having some pain in my foot after running and in the morning. It turns out it is plantar facisitis. The doctor put my running on hold for a month in order to try to get my foot to heal. I do want it to heal but I am scared that I am going to lose all the progress I've made while I take time off. I can still do exercise that is low impact like biking, swimming or the eliptical machine. I guess I will give it a try. I just like that running high - hopefully the month will go by fast and I will get a green light from the doctor to start again. I'll cross my fingers. emoticon emoticon

    Oh no! That's my worst fear too, but I read somewhere that you should only have to go back 1 week in training for every 2 weeks you're off of your training. So hopefully you can heal up & get back at it! Good luck!
