I'm still here ...

I'm still here! I have to say it's been hard to motivate myself to sign into Spark on a regular basis. Seems I have to sign into a million things a day with work, email, online banking, and of course Facebook, etc. etc., I just need to make it a habit, because I know it is a very helpful tool.

Speaking of habits ... I have been a regular at the local gym for about a month now. The first 2 weeks I REALLY had to push myself to get there and do what I could, but it's much more enjoyable now. I’ve lost 15 pounds in the last 5 weeks, but the weight loss seems to have stopped this last week, and I'm working out more than before, and my calorie intake is lower than what it takes to maintain current weight, so not sure how that is possible. It’s a little discouraging, but I will hopefully break through it soon.

    Will do, June! Yes, I'm trying to stay focused on my goals and know that the benefits will overflow into the rest of my life. That’s why I'm going to the gym so early, no distractions. Think I’m going back to nights, this early AM workout is a real struggle. Never been much of a morning person :-). By the way, LOVE the bike!

    Sounds like you're making YOU a priority....that's a good thing! I know it's hard to fit everything into a day, but you're working hard & it's paying off. don't get too discouraged Jill, consistency is the key. Keep plugging away at the cardio. Keep tracking your nutrition faithfully. Keep sparking!!!
