I had something interesting to say earlier and now it's gone out of my head

Today has been a better day than Monday. Monday was just plain c-r-a-z-y. Today I woke up and had breakfast, cleaned up, did laundry, worked out, relaxed for a while, had dinner and now I'm here typing I'll probably be going for a long walk in a little and then do a cardio dance video later.

Oh I remember what I was going to say! There was a crazy storm last night. It's been a while since I can remember a really good thunder and lightning filled storm. My husband and I were watching Daybreakers (a vampire movie, I think that's what it was called) and then we started hearing a lot of noise outside. There is a big tall palm tree in the back yard and when it's windy the leaves make a crazy noise. Then there was a loud crash and I literally jumped. The basketball court fell over. It was scary lol. The lightning was lighting up the whole house.
It rained for a while and it was nice. I had the front door open and it was super fresh in here all night. This morning I went outside and it was a mess! There was dirt and leaves and trash all over the back yard. The winds brought all kinds of mess to the front and the back porch. So it was a fun (not) time cleaning up. Apparently the winds were strong enough to knock a semi on it's side on the highway. Crazy crazy weather.

My husband and I are planning a trip to San Antonio in September for our birthdays (he's the 5th and I'm the 18th). I've been there several times and I love it. He's never been so I want to take him. Hopefully it all goes through. We were supposed to go to California for a church retreat and that fell through, they moved it to Denver and I really don't want to go to Denver...I had my heart set on California but I'll be happy with San Antonio That gives me another short term goal to work towards!!
