Soooo...it's been a while! A little over a year in fact! I've not been following any healthy eating habits unfortunately, but the good news is that on any given day I hover no more than 10 pounds over my absolute lowest weight (and I'm 5'11" so 10 pounds is fairly insignificant...I can often fluctuate 10 pounds from day to day).
Lately though, I've been unhappy with the choices I've been making. I've not felt as good about myself because I know that I am making poor choices consistently simply because I'm choosing to give in to my cravings and stress. This changes today though. I'm back and as motivated as ever! I'm not going to let the stresses of college destroy my health anymore! School and work are important, but so is this journey to be healthy! For the last 2 years, I have actually worked roofing houses with my stepdad (lol I know! A female Roofer! Gasp!). This has definitely kept me physically active and done wonders to improve my strength...however, it is awful on my diet. I work with men who like to eat a lot of greasy fast food and drink lots of soda! I've allowed them and my need for extra calories (to sustain me working out in the heat all day) to influence and justify my bad eating habits. This is the first place I intend to work on. Simply changing this behavior will do wonders!
So here's to me...and my will power! My entire focus these days will be school, work, and ME!
