My 20 minute workout

So last night I challenged my boyfriend to do a workout with me. He keeps saying how he wants to get in shape with me so I thought why not make a short (but challenging) workout together? And so we did. We did it in his living room because all this biblical flooding here in AB has prompted an insane mosquito invasion! It took us 16 minutes to do these exercises back to back without rest once:

15 Bur-pees
15 Lunges
10 Push ups
15 Pendulums
1 min Mountain Climbers
15 Single leg raises in bridge
15 Donkey Kicks
20 Bicycle crunches
1 min Split Jumps
15 Side Lunges
15 Side Planks with knee lift
1 min wall sit

He was DRIPPING with sweat while we were stretching at the end! His brother watched the whole time in amusement while we huffed and puffed haha. I'm going to make a new workout for us to do today, anyone have some favorite exercises I should add in? (We don't have much equipment)

On a side note, I'm getting my hair cut today (scary!!) and my friend Torrie (who I did my 31km run with) got back from Africa today! So I'm excited to hear about her trip =)

    I LOATHEEE split jumps! Good for you for doing a full minute. Check out the spartacus workout for more ideas (or just do that workout) requires some dumbbells and that's it...you can always sub in a jug of water or something: http://www.menshealth.com/spartacus

    Hmmm... I recognize some of those moves... 6W6P maybe? Nice though. I signed my man up for a race. And I paid for it. He wouldn't want to waste my money (I hope!) But maybe we'll give your little bootcamp a try. Can't hurt!

We have 31 days till wedding/honeymoon. Honeymoon = not too many clothes, and he wants to be in shape. Fingers crossed!

    I love this! My bf has been saying the same thing about getting in shape with me! He came to the gym for the first time with me the other day to lift weights, and I think he decided it was his last! (I know it's b/c he's intimidated) So maybe I'll do something like this with him at home!

For ideas on new moves BodyRock.tv has some great short workouts that require little to no equipment.
