I've been on my latest "journey" to healthy for almost 3 months now... and eating in the evening is really tough to overcome. What I do: Drink a glass or bottle of water, start counting my blessings and focus on how good that empty feeling in my stomach feels!
Crazy as it sounds, I have gone for so many years without experiencing real hunger because I never let myself get to that point of even a little tummy rumble. Now that I actually have it, it symbolizes control for me. I used to go to bed every night STUFFED to the gill. How miserable it felt, tossing and turning and sweating like a stuck pig! Having a little tummy rumble is a welcome change. I now call it "The Happy Rumble"!
