Today was my husband's first day back at work since February! Really happy on so many levels! A regular paycheck will seem like heaven, and we qualify for insurance starting August 18th. This week is going to be somewhat tricky as he is scheduled to entertain as well in the evenings, so it will be straight from his day job to his balloon twisting gig. I hope they both go well!
We had a graduation party for my daughter yesterday and she had a sleepover as well. Getting ready for the party was a lot of work, but it went really well despite a morning thunderstorm. My Mom brought her famous slush and we had a light buffet. Enjoyed seeing family and friends!
Our first exchange student left on Saturday. We had lots of fun with him and I will miss him a lot. Our next students, twins, arrive on Sunday from Belgium. A week later they leave and I get a boy from France for 3 weeks! It has made for a fun filled summer. I am learning to be the queen of finding fun things to do for free!
I need a push now...we watched Sick, Fat, and Almost Dead for the third time. I borrowed a juicer. I bought the vegetables and fruit I need to start. I just need to start. With my lifestyle, when is a good time to start? They say at the beginning of a detox you feel somewhat sick to the stomach, and I work tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, and I am getting my students on Sunday. Should I go for the juicing, or just eat the fruits and veggies and wait a couple of weeks until my schedule is lighter? I am afraid to get on the scale. I tried to weigh myself yesterday but the battery is lo. I am afraid I am my highest weight ever!
I need to work on paperwork and then get some sleep, my husband has to be out the house and ready to go for both jobs by 5:30 AM. This could be tricky! I took a nap earlier in the evening because I am so exhausted and just want to say "screw it" and go to sleep, but I can't. Pushing on, moving forward.
Please help me with some motivating weight loss thougts!
