I just got back from an amazing week of wilderness camping with my family.
While we were there, I did something I've ALWAYS shied away from -- swimming in the beautifully clear, COLD lake. The weather was warm enough, and I was brave enough to try it -- and I ended up doing it Every Day!!
Totally apart from the amazing, refreshing feeling after a great swim, I felt joyfully connected to my fearless family (who love the water, cold or not) and proud of myself for breaking through my own barrier.
Starting out is really uncomfortable - a sharp slap in the face - then you get used to it, and when you leave (the water) you feel incredibly refreshed and invigorated.
This is exactly how I've been feeling these many months. I've been standing on the edge of the COLD lake, witnessing all kinds of Spark people splashing around, having fun and feeling amazing. I've dipped my toes in, and kept saying I was coming in, but that's it.
Inspired by my discovery and newfound LOVE of the lake -- I'm coming in! I'm tired of holding myself back -- and it's going to feel SO GOOD! SPLASH!!
Drink 8plus glasses of water
Walk/Run on Treadmill at least 30 min
