I need to look at the plan and food shop-I have been away from the plan because we are out of fruit!
So I will take a look at the plan and make a menu
Here are my guidelines for 42 days!-
6 week Plan!-from Dr. Joel Fuhrman
UNLIMITED (include at least the minimums of raw and cooked vegetables and raw fruits)
-raw vegetables, including raw carrots (at least one pound or 454 grams daily)
Salad is any raw vegetable with green ones being the best choice
-cooked non-starchy vegetables
(at least 1 pound or 454 grams daily)
-cooked beans and legumes, bean sprouts, tofu
(at least 1 cup )
-fresh, whole, raw, unprocessed fruit (4 daily at minimum)
-unlimited eggplant, mushrooms, peppers, onions, tomato
LIMITED (not more than 1 cup a day of any combination of cooked whole grains and/or cooked starchy vegetables (two slices whole grain bread is a one cup equivalent)
- butternut or acorn squash, pumpkin, sweet potato, yams, carrots, corn (one large corn on the cob is one cup), water chestnuts, etc.
- whole grain products, brown rice, whole oats, bulgar, millet, quinoa,wheat berries, etc. all unrefined.
GROUND FLAXSEED DAILY
RAW NUTS and RAW SEEDS
-optional for obese or overweight persons, except for ground flaxseed which is a permanent item for all persons.
-one handful raw nuts equals 1/4 cup or one ounce or 28.4 grams
-one ounce of raw sunflower seeds is 28.4 grams or 1/4 cup
dairy and all other animal products, fruit juices, dried fruits.
NO BETWEEN MEAL SNACKS
Also for me-no Caffeine and No alcohol
and Plenty of Exercise and water
