Day 2 of summer vacation

Ok, promised I'd let you know how I survived after yesterday's 6 mile walk.

Slept real well last night, no surprise there. I was expecting to be real sore when I got up this morning, but truthfuly it wasn't to bad. My feet, rather the inside ankle area is sore, probably because I wore my old tennis shoes which needed replacing. I did buy new shoes the other day, but haven't broken them in yet.

My calves and butt are sore, but not to bad. I actually got out and did a 20 minute walk this morning. Then walked to the bus to run errands. Post office and produce store.

I'm feeling it a little more tonight, but I will survive! Still need to do some strength training while I watch TV.

Let's see what Day 3 brings!

I'm still trying to get to "one"derland as well. Feel like I'm one stop forward, two steps back. Time for some changes. :)

    Congrats on your 6 mile walk. I need to get back "out there" & do my walking. When I was walking, I finally made it up to 3 miles. Keep up the good work...Take care...
