Wow - what a whirlwind of a day. So my daughter's friend is sick and her mom and she are now unable to join us for the Journey, Foreigner, Night Ranger concert tonight. I'm sure it will be awesome - so now my son wants to go too. DH not so thrilled - he's not a big concert-goer (well at least not rock). But it seems we are going as a family now. Should be fun!
And then my son's new sail for his smaller sailboat arrived in the mail and has the 'boys' distracted in getting that rigged and figured out. So suddenly they are more interested in sailing than concerts. And DD wants to go to the beach for a short while to see her 'boyfriend' - as much as one has a boyfriend at 14.
Yup, just a typical crazy hectic day in the lives of our family. And then blue whale watching tomorrow. We are foregoing the pig roast due to all the various complications of the day. Hot yoga, Zumba and Brazilian Booty were still enjoyed in the morning - and, yes, DD was able to join (and enjoy with me).
DH told me that my new shirt looked 'awesome!' - a rarity to have such a strong compliment from him. I did admit that Ariana (DD) helped me pick it out - a personal shopper is needed once in a while, right?
Okay - off to Trader Joe's to get some last minute picnic items for the concert -- it's outdoors, you know. Nice cool breeze blowing and temps perfect. Can't wait!!
