Everyday I find new ways to spark - whether it is in the food I choose or the "movement" I choose for my form of exercise. I am doing GOOD things for my body and I feel the difference.
My husband has started using words associated with making changes.. he talks about goals and doing little things that someday will have a big impact on his health. He has started to drink more water and has taken a step back from pop being his main beverage... !
He even brought home a healthy man's recipe book from Men's Health magazine..called A Man, A Can and a Grill. I love it when my husband is doing healthy things for himself, cuz he just isn't into "all that!" as he says.
Even my two daughters have changed some things in their lives - leaner meats, more veggies, less snacks, one joined a gym - the other was always vary active, but even she has room to add some spark into her life.
I love Spark and the changes I have made to my life. I am now changing MORE - as I learned how to love my kidneys more through my diet and exercise, now I have to learn how to avoid diabetes. It is more than fruits and veggies, as I am limited in what I can have due to my kidneys. GRRRRR..onward and forward! I am determined to live a healthy life. Since I had my gallbladder removed I have felt so much healthier! More healthier than I have felt in over 10 years, so I am going forward and not looking back!
