16.5 pounds total and 14.5 of that is fat!

I had my biweekly weigh-in this afternoon and I did break the plateau!! I had the ladies in the office shaking their heads when I told them that I cut back on all my exercise this week but still kept the calories up and ended up losing 2.5 pounds mostly this week alone! And another 1.2% of body fat gone! So I'm not losing muscle just all fat :)
But it also feels good to know that I really do know my body well. When I'm not excited about working out, I can take a break. Not a long break, but it's ok to stop working out for a week. And clearly my body was sending a message to me that I heard!
For the past three weeks, I had been having a rough time - feeling a little low and not feeling so great about my progress. This weigh-in (while only losing 2.5 pounds) was a great change. It's my lowest # yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I get a bigger number next time! But even if it stays the same, it'll be ok!
I'm so glad that I have been utilizing this weight-loss program! I think it has been really helpful always having someone there that is unbiased to talk to. And I have a scale that is nice to me!
