I went in to the weekend with good intentions and plans. Friday I chose a Beautiful salad from BK
I managed to stay away from the bad snacking most of the trip. Hubby asked me if I wanted candy at the the gas station after lunch. I said no but he bought it anyway
I avoided eating it most of the trip but eventually I succumbed to the candy bar calling. Overall I had a good weekend
No cardio even though I packed my stuff. I thought about it a lot but never went. It's the thought that counts right? LOL j/k but honestly the fact that I packed the clothes and considered exercising is a step in the right direction. I also took the stairs carrying my nephew when I had the chance instead of the elevator because I knew I needed more movement in my day.
I ate more calories than I should have that I am sure of BUT at my dad's party I ate salad, fruit salad, 1 rib, and only 1 cupcake. I stayed clear of all the fried foods! The rest of the weekend I had veggie pizza instead of the king arthur but I did drink a few too many calories.

I've lost so much weight that everyone I haven't seen in months was able to notice and that felt great too!

So while it wasn't a picture perfect planned weekend, I made better choices most of the time and it was definitely healthier than trips in the past I have taken. Baby steps in the right direction!
