Good Morning Spark Friends! I just need to vent a little bit today. LOL! I've really been having a tough time lately with getting frustrated over what I see on the scale every Sunday because, it's literally 4 pounds down one week, 2 pounds up the next week and it goes on and on and on! I can tell a difference in my clothes, for instance my work dress pants that were a little snug on me are now fitting much better and they're even getting a little baggy which makes me feel like I must be losing inches. Although, I'm NOT exercising as much as I need to be, so I wonder how I'm losing those inches??? I want to keep going and get to my goal weight, but I've realized that it's going to take me much longer than I thought it would. I'm going to the beach on September 10th, so that doesn't give me much time to lose what I want to get back into a swim suit! (SCARY thought to me!!!) I need all the encouragement I can get!     Hey! I agree with the previous post, I have found about a 2lb difference between the morning and evening, so I strictly weigh in the morning. Just keep on track! It may come off slowly but it will be a much healthier weight loss. You can do it! emoticon

    My weight went up 5 lbs in one night, and it was a mix of to little sleep, to much sodium & taking ibuprophen. Simple things like that can cause you to hold onto water weight, which isn't fat and will go away as soon as you fix the problem.

    I would keep a very close eye on how much sodium you are taking in, as well as if there is a pattern to the weight loss with any medications (over the counter or prescription)

    PS your swim suit doesn't care what the scale says - it just wants the inches gone!

    Do you weigh yourself first thing in the morning? Same time every Sunday? I wouldn't stress about it to much. As long as your clothes are loser and you can tell a difference forget about what the number on the scale says. I know it's easier said then done but try. I'm not weighing myself the whole month of July because I let that little number affect me to much and I feel great!!

    You can do it! September 10th is plenty of time to get down to it and get you the results you want! Just hang in there, eat clean, drink a tone of water and fit in your workouts.

    Do you work out in the morning? I have to or else my day gets away from me.
