1000 Days of Spark

...or at least 1000 days of logging in and spinning the wheel! I realized when I checked my milestones today that I've logged in 1000 days as of today. At first those logins were to record exercise in an effort to build a new habit. Later the focus was to record nutrition to figure out why I was seeing health changes I was NOT willing to live with. From there my logins moved into full commitment mode - learning as much as I could, supporting others and gaining support as I worked to reach a healthy weight.
Now that I've been a SparkMember almost 33 months, my logins are a maintenance thing I still do for myself every day. I enjoy the positive folks I find here, and still give/receive a lot of encouragement. I still learn things from the blogs and articles. I still use the nutrition and exercise trackers to hold myself accountable and maintain the health improvements I've achieved. But I have to admit, I'm not as active as I once was on the site. Instead I'm out enjoying the terrific life I have. And since I've been able to achieve my goals here at SparkPeople, isn't that the best gift of these 1000 days?
