Well I'm back on track with the exercising and working out. I had been holding steady for several months on the weight, meaning I hadn't been gaining or losing. But now that is starting to change. Since I last checked in at sparkpeople in May I am down a net loss of 7 pounds.
The things that I'm doing differently include 1) getting more regular sleep. 2) daily exercise. I may not exercise a full 30 to 45 minutes per day, but I make it a point to get at least 20 minutes of activity per day. 3) I'm also eating smaller portions but I'm also eating more often. In the past I had made the mistake of going hours without eating and then gorging all at once. I have found that by eating more frequently but eating less when I do eat, I'm less hungry during the day and I even wind up eating fewer calories overall.
