So, Sunday is a big day. Dad and I love country music. Country music artist do not come to Hawaii very often, and least not the really big artists. The Marine Corps MWR puts on a carnival and open house on the MCBH in Kailua every summer, and they bring in musical acts to preform in the evening. Usually there is a Local Hawaiian act 1 day, a rock act on another, and a country act on yet another day. I have been able to see Alan Jackson, Gretchen Wilson, and Rodney Atkins, and others through the years , thanks to Bay Fest Hawaii. This Sunday I'll Be going to see Joe Nichols.
My only concern in Fair Food. The concert gates open at five, and the seating is first come, first serve, so even though the actual concert isn't until 8:30pm, we will be there by 6. That means eating at the fair.
I am going to do my best to find the least bad for me foods. The last time I went, I was able to get a Huli Huli Chicken Plate (Hawaiian style rotisserie chicken) and roasted corn on the cob, hopefully I will be able to do that again. Just in case, I am going to save most of my calories for that night and on Saturday and Sunday I'm going to try and double my exercise minutes.
Really looking forward to a great time.
