Why does everyone say they hate being sick?

Well no duh! Who on earth would enjoy being sick hello? Everyone says it though; "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired" or "I hate being sick" well then do something about it. It drives me nuts, I'm sorry it just does.
I've been fighting some kind of summer cold for three days. The first day I felt horrible. I could hardly talk and had a major sinus head ache. I didn't feel like going for my daily walk so when my girlfriend called to go I passed. Thirty minutes later I thought, "what are you doing, sitting here doing nothing isn't going to make you feel any better. Get up and sweat it out." So that's what I did. I didn't think I would make it around the block but I did, three times in fact. After the first lap I thought " This isn't so bad, I can actual breath better out here." Then I pumped out another 2 laps at a pretty good pace. I think my walking buddy would have had a hard time keeping up. I felt better than I had felt all day, tired and sweaty, but better.
The second day I sucked it up when Carol called to see if I was joining her for a walk. We almost walked 2 miles.
Today is day 3 no walk today. Uncle Kracker was playing at the fair so went dancing. I made it on and off the fair grounds without the purchase of a single doughnut, snow cone or soft drink. Oh! I ran up the bleachers at the grand stand...all the way to the top without stopping and wasn't winded!
So... no more I don't feel up to it when my buddy calls unless I'm dying, even if I only make it once around the block. Something is always better than nothing. Don't pout, sweat it out!
