Today's Fitness
I did 15 minutes of fitness yesterday (July 14).

Today's Highlights
Once again another light day, but made it through a long week and am looking forward to the weekend and both having fun and getting great fitness minutes. I'm happy to have blogged 6 days in a row.

We're working on some great things at SP now that I can't wait to launch.

Today's member post is a Video blog. This is a long one, but it's really touching to see how a SparkPeople adventure can touch so many parts of someone's life and to see that in pictures. I especially loved seeing this SparkPeople Mom walking with her dog while her daughter rode a bike next to her. That's what this is all about!

    I was able to do 45 minutes...30 minutes of which were on my Bowflex Treadclimber on the actual treadclimber setting. When I started about five weeks ago...I could only do five!

    Highlight of the day: Meeting challenge number 16 (H.I.I.T Training) on my For Real this time 30 Day Challenge team. This is my first time doing a Sparkpeople challenge and I think I'm hooked for life :)

    By doing 20 minutes extra exercise I got to help out a poor dog who could have gotten lost or seriously injured had I not walked by!

    Hi Chris,

    Today's fitness: 120minutes and it's only 2pm.

    Today's Highlight: (So far)

    Woke up this morning and first thing I did was to look at 'Northwoods8 video blog, which you highlighted and was so inspired that I made a decision not to exercise on my own today, so I phoned my Aunt with whom I usually walk with.
    It is a car journey away. ~She said yes but that her knee was hurting so I taught to myself 'I'm not going to get much of a workout there' so the taught came to me , to leave the car behind and to cycle over to her, that way I would get my exercise and walk slowly with her. Well I'm back now and it was awesome, I cycled up a road in which I lived when I was very young and realised that it was 50yrs since I last cycled up that road and I didn't feel any older. I feel that I could go out right now and climb Mount Everest. Made an appointment to go on another walk this evening with my lazy unfit cousin this evening. Your right, Chris this is what it's all about!!!

    Looking forward to seeing all those exciting new things that you are about to launch on SP.

    If anybody had said to me two weeks ago that I could or would have done what I did this morning, I would have told them to 'Dream On' emoticon

    Highlight was finding Stampin' Up Stamp sets at a yard sale for $1 each!

    My highlight of the day, was getting an adjustment at the Chiropractor! He works on my sore feet, knees and back, so I am good to go for the next long walk! I did 20 miles of walking over my vacation- I am happy to say. Even at the Chiropractors office they were commenting on how I am losing weight and how good I look! Told me to keep up the good work! I have told them about Sparkpeople and how it has helped me!

    Haven't done my exercise for today yet. Have a sweet gentle yoga session scheduled before bed.

    Today's highlight - I caught a look of my bare legs on the glass door at work. Despite all the fat, I could totally see definition where there wasn't any in January. I am so happy! All the walking sure is paying off! :-)

    Thanks for the reminder - kind of in a funk, but think a nice bike ride might be just the ticket. Kind of in a funk so maybe the cool(er) air will clear my head.
