DH is away on a boyz camping holiday this week and I miss him
On the up side, I've been able to spen lots of time working out and I can let the house turn into a complete tip without worrying about it.
9 days to go until my SpartanSprint

tan-sprint.html and I made myself go to the killer circuits class this evening. I think my heart rate is just about back to normal now. Can the race be any harder than that? Ug. I think it's the unknown that makes it so scary.
I've been alternating swimming, treadmill/crosstrainer and some arm exercises with a 1hr15 yoga class on Tuesdays and now this circuit class. On Sunday, thanks to a team challenge, I did a 13mile bike ride in just over an hour.
"Interestingly" the scale refuses to budge - not the slightest variation even at different times of the day. I can see why it's so good to set goals like this race because at least I can tell myself to keep going for that reason and not lose heart from the lack of weight loss. I have a feeling I should recalculate my calories with this increase of activities but I will confess I'm a bit reluctant to do that. Lots of my Sparkfriends talk about patience and perserverence and I'm sure I'll see some results on the old scale EVENTUALLY.
