You were warned this could happen. High protein diets lead to kidney stones. Just ask anyone.
I did ask and the research showed more benefits from eating low carb than risks. And its NOT a high protein diet. Its actually a high fat diet.
Ya? Did those benefits include the pain we're in right now?
No, of course not.
You know what Dr Z is going to tell you right? You have to cut out all the things that a low carb diet is about. Meat, eggs, cheese, dairy, leafy greens (especially spinach) all have to go.
That's just riduculous. I ate all those things on the recommended diet. I just ate them in smaller amounts (well, maybe not the spinach - I ate plenty of that.) The only thing that has really changed is the amount of fat. And most of that is actually from nuts and seeds. The meat I eat is very lean.
Except the bacon. What happened to the Turkey Bacon?
It's not really the bacon. Its the overall fat. I think I've cut my carbs back too far and too much of my diet is fat now. But I'm not gaining weight.
Not losing either.
Why don't you just let me be. I have enough pain. I don't need guilt too.
