Bye Bye 200's By Summer's End!

WOW it's been quite some time since I last wrote.
Many things have been happening in my life. But I'll just comment on my weight loss...lbs and food and exercise. So here's the summary:

So I've lost and gained. Never reaching my highest of 227 again, but never getting below 200 lbs.
I'm stronger, I've been able to lift more, endure longer hours and walk a lot further than I had in such a long time.
And today I say emoticon to not losing the pounds. emoticon to the 200's we've been together too long!
emoticon 100's again. I really pray that by summer's end I WILL SEE the 100's again! Hey I'll be happy with being 199 for longer than a day!
So hopefully I will be able to have success. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Oh and my Oncologist is tweeking some of my meds so hopefully this will help too.

    Read SCOTT RIGDEN, M.D.'s "The Ultimate Metabolism Diet" (I got a copy at the library. It explains being over 40 and having Insulin Resistance/Metabolic Syndrome. When we eat, our pancreas pumps out TOO MUCH insulin (unlike Diabetes) and so we STORE as fat the food that comes in and then our brain thinks we haven't eaten so it tells the stomach to pump out LEPTIN the hunger hormone. So, it is no wonder we are always hungry even though we want to lose. His book explains a lot.

    You ARE going to reach your goal of below 200...I just know it. You're doing a great job and it sounds like will move even further ahead, one day at a time. I hope you enjoy your accomplishments each day and remember that your SparkFriends are out here rooting for you!!! (SparkFriends like me.) You are worth experiencing the best health possible. Believe it.
