30 DS Level 1, Day 3 + weekend recap...

I pushed through level 1, day 3 this morning. Today's accomplishment was that my legs weren't shaking and wobbling by the end of the workout, woohoo!! I really want to get through all 30 days this time, but it's only day 3 & I am already bored with it and quoting everything along with Jillian. I frequently yell at her and say, "you lie! you said 'just a couple more' and yet we did another eight more!" or "hurry up and get to the part where you say that the knot in my stomach is fear leaving the body!" I really just want to go back to my Zumba for Wii, but I said I would do the shred and I don't want to quit.

Any ideas for making it more interesting?

This weekend was crazy, but fun! The wedding was beautiful, and everything went well (except for the cupcakes that melted in the heat). We had so much fun & I even got exercise in on Saturday by dancing the night away with all the traditional wedding dances as well as some other fun new ones. My great-grandmother's 90th birthday party was great! She was very surprised and really enjoyed it. It's was such a nice weekend!

    Congrats to Grandma!

I would go out for vigorous walks or runs and make that the workout of the day... I mean long long walks/runs. But if you're not into that, I would do what I'm into and for you it seems to be Zumba... so do it!

I always tell my clients that if they don't enjoy a workout, it's not worth it because they'll lose momentum. However... you might end up liking it with time and progress... so give it another week.

I don't like Zumba... I love spinning for a real fat burner! What do you think?

    I know exactly how you feel about yelling at jillian! haha when we do the punches I aim for her at my TV because by then i'm already mad at her! after the first few days i just mute her and listen to some upbeat music instead. good luck finishing the 30 days! i lost 12 inches doing it!

    Oh I definitely mute mine and turn up the jams!! I can't stand to listen to that horrible background music and I already know what she will say LOL
Make some different playlists to change it up, it's repetitive but you can last for 25 minutes and soon you'll be on the next level! we can do it!

    Sometimes I put my workout vids on mute when I can't stand to hear them anymore and listen to music instead!
