Something that I need to apply to my life!

I read an article on sparkpeople today and one of the things that stuck in my head was....


Yeah so as I read this and go, well duh, I start to think about how I have been eating lately and how it has effected my mood . In the article it says that you should "stop labeling food as good or bad, diet or non-diet" ....hmmm... ok so I started thinking and reading more.. "make good food choices" ok yeah I do that most.. (key word there) most of the time.. "and when you have your favorite treat incorporate it into your meal plan"... Yeah I do that too... then it tells me.....


My AH-HA moment- "remind yourself that what happens on any one day is not going to make or break your WHOLE EFFORT!! ....TADA!!

I will not give up or chide myself today because I had Jack-in-the-box egg rolls.. I will just do better tomorrow.

    We are never Perfect! Just take it one day at a time! Even if u eat something that you think is Horrible or bad it will not turn all the good you have gotten so far!! So just start anew tomorrow and push on! XOXO

    None of us can live up to Mary Poppins. She was just "perfectly perfect in every way".

    All we can do is our best. Our best is sometimes better than we think it is. We're just used to selling ourselves short.

    If you make room for it on your food tracker ... and if you count those calories and OWN it ... then it's not "cheating" ... it's planned eating, which is what we are striving for on this journey. It's being realistic about what we eat. It's having the knowledge that we can't just count a whole bag of pretzels as a nutritious meal.

    That's what this is about. MINDFUL EATING.
