So I stayed up last night going through my various workout program nutrition guides trying to come up with a meal plan for the week that I could live with. Came up with a preliminary plan this morning and I have been cooking for the week every since. I have also rededicated myself to running a 5K so I back on the couch to 5K program. Day 1 went great I did this on the treadmill at the gym because it is entirely too hot today to be outside. Eventually I am going to have to get used to running outside seeing that any 5K I run will be outside and not on a treadmill but today was only day 1 so no foul.
I have done really good staying with in my calorie range and only had one truly bad food day, Mcdonalds was seriously calling me and so was Starbucks on this particular day. LOL. One thing I have learned is not to beat myself up when I fall off the wagon I just dust myself off and get back in the game because I have not come up with a time machine yet and I can't change the past anyway, So onward I march.
Insanity Day 9-- Pure Cardio was on the menu and I can say I did way better this go round than the first time I completed it. Yeah I still had to stop and catch my breath or to correct my form but nowhere near as much as the first time I did it. I actually made it through one of the warmup circuits with out stopping. I can now boost that I can do 4 pushup jacks in a row. I almost didn't do this workout because I had already got my cardio in for the day at the gym but I made a commitment to this program and short of an injury I have no excuse to not do it.
