on and off ... now its July

I just started reading a book from a lady called Bethenny Frankel, i think.
so i started checking out other books she wrote; here is a review from amazon:


buy a food scale on Amazon and get a spiral notebook and pen to keep by the fridge/pantry. Measure your food and keep track of your calories as you serve them to yourself. If you are a woman, eat between 1200-1500 calories per day and exercise a few days a week. You can lose all the weight you want, eat what you want-just smaller portions, and you will have a healthy blood sugar level. Try to eat something small every 3-4 hours and stop eating 3 hours before bed. It worked for me years ago and still works today for maintenance.

I copied and pasted that and sent it to myself in an email
just thought it sounds like good solid basic advice

sometimes i look for "it" - the one magical thing that will get me on the road to being thin (quick and easy); done and no more struggle

but it isnt there


but i was thinking, this website provides a way for me to record my calories consumed, the food i eat, and maybe i should just go back and try it again


i have just been disgusted with my belly
it feels so fat to me

is that carbs?
or just overeating ?

i am going to try to just use the spark page a little bit
so i wont have the excuse that i dont have enough time to do it

ps, one other thing i tried this week is zumba,
i did not like the class but would like to try it again
was looking at the dvds on amazon , but very pricey

anyone doing zumba?
