Never the plan.

Saturday, July 09, 2011

Guess what? I'm a great planner. Fantastic. I always have a to-do list (or 3 floating around my house, and a few more in my head) I have a blackberry that I will continue to keep and love just for the calendar application on it. I will schedule my down in 15 minute increments. And build in buffer time because I know that even though an activity won't take 30 minutes, I'll need some time to chill in there. That being said I had a great plan for today. And it included leaving my house at noon. (its 12:34) It was supposed to be (up, dishes, workout, shower, errands, drive to parents house). It was...up, make green monster, organize closet, vaccum, prepare stuff for errands, blog, make delicious lunch, and think about showering.

Green Monster? I hope you're wondering what that is. Its a delicious smoothie that I've been thinking about trying and finally got the nerve to make this morning!! You can see the official recipe here ohsheglows.com/recipage/

I hadn't owned a blender before this week. I bought a $20 blender at Target (sunbeam brand). I honestly thought it would be able to do it, but I'm super cheap and don't want to buy expensive household items (until I have a wedding shower ((and thats no where in the future))).

As for the amazing lunch I used a tomato basil La Tortilla factory wrap (100 calories) with one slice of pepperjack cheese, some turkey, some jalopenos, and some 100 calorie guacamole packets. It was super delicious and tasty.

Now I need to shower and go to a wedding shower! Last night I attended my 4th wedding of the summer (I have 6 total) And it was very different and special. Outdoor wedding, only 50 people invited, no booze, and finished with a bonfire. It was a cool setting and one that I wouldn't naturally pick for myself, but so fun to see. Now I just need to power through another reminder that I'm very single. But then again, I never follow the plans I make for myself, so why should my plan for relationships be any different?

You also need to remember that you are a single, STRONG woman! Just through reading your blogs, I have learned that you are an amazing woman who cares deeply for those important to you. One day, you will share that with a man. Right now, there are other plans for your heart. No plan ever sticks 100% to the outline! Independence is a wonderful thing! I kinda miss it sometimes.
Anyway, you rock and keep on going girl! Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my blogs!

Whew! You are busy! I too like to make lists and also take off on a tangent and follow my heart instead of my plan. Take care today. emoticon
