Paisley Mae Mix Update!

Saturday, July 09, 2011

It is so sad to "watch", although I am watching from a distance through Paisley's Grandmother, as Paisley keeps getting worse with more and longer seizures than normal at this age, with a child who has her Syndrome. She is up to from 10 to 20 a day and had to go back to the hospital to have her Phenobarbital upped yet again as it is not controlling the seizures that last sometimes 20 minutes.

My daughter watches Paisley on occasion when Paisley's mother has to work and says it just makes her cry every time she has a seizure. She says her little eyes get wide as though she is expecting one to come and when it is over just cries as though she is in terrible pain and begging for someone to please help her and why doesn't someone do something. The medication they think might help her is something she cannot take at this young age.

She is such a beautiful baby and normal, so far, in every other way. She smiles and cooes and is gaining weight. All we can do is pray for her and of course I have put her name on the Temple Prayer List.

I would be so happy for any prayers that would be rendered in her behalf. Thank you ahead of time. I love you all.

My heart is saddened as I read these words of yours. Trust in God's plan no matter what happens. I know things are not good right now, but I believe God has answered my healing prayers.

Dear Charlene, I'm so sorry to hear this about Paisley. A wee one shouldn't have to suffer in this way. Please know that my prayers are with Paisley, her doctors and nurses, and all your family. These are difficult days for everyone.

Love and hugs,

This is just such an awful thing, for Paisley and for her parents and family. I have been praying for her and all of you since you first mentioned her on here.
