I started a new job ( sous chef ) and boy o boy are my eating habits paying for it. I really don't get a break to st down and properly eat a lunch or dinner, so when I feel hungry I am grabbing the first thing insight ( not good ). Most of the quickie items are fattening. Yesterday I had 2 servings ice cream, brownies, nature valley bars , not one but two. A few veggies. I am trying to fit in a proper diet. I don't leave until 10:00pm so my diet is off the chain. I have to figure out something. As long as I can balance my meals I am ok, but this eat on the run thing is throwing me off badly. Today I am going to do better. Fruits and veggies only. I can't wait ( as we know ) until I am famished to eat.
I get into a lot of trouble, too, when I wait too long to eat. Surely a place that employs a sous chef will have some healthier options you can eat? If you're entitled to food, maybe you can just make some better choices, even though it could be harder to just grab them, except for pieces of fruit and such. I find I get into the most trouble when I'm low on protein. I'm sure you'll work it out with a little time.
