I have been thinking a lot about my plateau weight of 138 and how to bust it. I am hesitent to run at the moment because my knee and ankle are acting up. I read that sometimes a plateau is reached when your body gets used to your exercise routine. The 30 day shred is based on muscle "confusion," that is to say that it mixes it up so that your work out is super effective. I'm thinking this may just be the thing I need to "shake it up."
So I am now on day 2 of level 1 and so far I do feel sore and it sure does work up a sweat! So I'm hopeful. I'm using 3 pound weights and adding a yoga sesh now and then. I am also boosting my lean protein because I figure my muscles will need it. Just a half cup of low fat cottage cheese really helps boos that lean protein intake!
Well, I hope the next time I take measurements I'm leaner! At least I'll be more fit and that's worth a lot in and of itself.
