UH OH...almost 40

I just realized a couple days ago that my 40th birthday is only 4 months away. What better time to set a new goal and the focus on that goal paid off this week. I have decided that I want to be a healthy weight on my 40th birthday. I will weigh no more than 163 lbs on Nov 6, 2011. Last week I weighed183, today I weigh 179. I feel in my heart that I will finally achieve this weight again. I have been through so much emotionally over the last year or so with the divorce in progress, I need to show it to myself that I have the strenghth and determination to do this.

I CAN DO IT. 4 lbs in one week! Yeah!!! and I did it by exercising every day and eating better. I like the way I feel when I am not eating as much junk food. I dug my bike out of the storage unit, so I could ride to work for more exercise and to save money on gas. My Expediton is a gas guzzler and it is time to make positive changes in that way too. I need to take control in all areas of my life.
