Every morning I start over.

Wednesday, July 06, 2011

Every morning I tell my self I will start exercising today. I set up a plan; but by the time I get off work, all I want to do is go lay down.

I always tell myself, I can' do ANYTHING for 10 minutes, even this! And then do it. It helps me to remind myself that 10 minutes is nothing! I even used that statement when the family got me on a roller coaster at the Nickelodeon theme park in the Mall of America over the weekend!!

You can do ANYTHING for 10 minutes. 10 minutes of trying is better than 10 minutes of not trying! You can do it!!

Take a look at what you are intending on doing, is it something you love to do? Find something you love to do!

While every day is a fresh start, I agree with the above, ten mins, bring your gym clothes to work with you and change in the bathroom before you leave. Then ten minutes, whether it is a gym workout, a walk around the neighborhood or park, or a quick set of jumping jacks, planks and wall push ups. You can commit to ten!!

Maybe you need a less vague statement to start your day like "Today I will exercise for 10 minutes!" Then make yourself do something for 10 minutes. You might surprise yourself and exercise longer once you get started. I tell myself I have to go to the gym for at least 10 minutes and hold myself to it... and I have yet to leave the gym without doing my full 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of strength training. Getting started is the hard part. emoticon

I think we're all a little like that at times. But i dare u to just take 10 mins of ur time after work and just do a work out.

U can even do one of the short 10 min workouts they have available on sparkpeople.com. I know its not easy but take a little step and then move forward from that.

I hope I was helpful. Be blessed!
