When i started using spark in March i had many goals, losing weight is the most obvious and simple one as it is with all of us whom use this.
But before my accident i was very fit and played many sports and loved to run.
I have lost a lot of weight now and today accomplished a big goal, i played my first full game of football for my team with no niggles and not once did i feel tired throughout the game which means my cardio is vastly improved since March. My goal was to be back playing in full by August to get ready for the season starting in September but im ready now and with the help of you guys on here, my coaches and team mates have done a massive thing which honestly in March would seem impossible to me.
So a big thanks go to those who have helped with diet & exercise tips and others for their advice in dealing with more of the mental side of what is needed to accomplish my goals. X X X
I now have to go to work but im doing so with a big old smile on my face.
Now for the half marathon in December, the real hard work starts here but with all the help i am recieving from everyone it will only be a matter of time before i reach where i want to be.
