On the road again!!

I finally got back on the pavement again. After pulling my glute muscle, I found that when I tried to run on the pavement it would bother me alot. I started running on the treadmill because I found I would properly warm up. But " boring". That made me not go to the gym. Now that I love running so much, I had to figure out something. I put on some muscle relaxer and no matter how much I wanted to take off before the proper warm up I just wouldn't do it. And what a run. It was great! I will take my time and warm up and enjoy the run the way I did tonight!! Woohoo

    Glad you are back running. I can not run, still working on walking.:) Even walking my gluts act up. I take a tennis ball and put it in a cover - sock or whatever and put it on the muscle where it hurts. The weight of my body on the ball works almost as well as a massage. When you live alone, you have to figure out a way.
