No moving and no weight loss

emoticonThis is what I want to do--play and move, emoticonand have fun.
I have been immobile for over a year and it stinks! I may still be on this brace and down on my butt for maybe another year. I have not lost any weight! I have not gained because I have been logging everything but I would love to see the scale go down a bit.
I am so glad that I discovered this site, it is so helpful to me. I am also so glad for all my spark friends. emoticon If there's any of you out there that are also on your butt, got any ideas for moving without putting weight on your foot? Let me know, I am open to any ideas.

    Seems like I have seen entire teams devoted to people with mobility issues, temporary and permanent.
Maybe you can get some ideas and support there.
Go to "Start" (I always start every day at Start) then 'community' then 'sparkteams"

    emoticon for your suggestion. emoticon I am doing that a little and I just got a stability ball. I am doing what doesn't require putting any weight on my foot but boy it's not easy. emoticon thanks again emoticon Jane

    My mom broke her ankle and is currently wearing a boot. All she can do is upper body strength training with light weights. Maybe you can do that along with leg lifts?...

Wow I am embarrassed!! Here I am with both feet and legs functioning and I am not motivated to move... emoticon emoticon
