I saw the doc yesterday, and uncovered some more restrictions...nothing too drastic except for two things:
-It's really hard to find any kind of bread I can have, even the rice breads have some ingredients I should stay away from, at least for now.
-She cut my fruit servings to one a day, and none after dinner. That's the hardest.
I love my fruit. But the sugar in fruit makes my insulin go up, which makes weight loss difficult. I guess that why I lost only 5# the first couple weeks.
Now I feel like I'm not getting enough calories, although I certainly feel full and not deprived (except in my head!)
Also, to stop craving anything at all after dinner, I am brushing and flossing immediately, and the peppermint taste will have to do. I'm sure it will.
This is certainly an interesting adventure
