It has been a long time since I have posted a blog or visited this site. Life has taken so many turns for me since I last posted most good but just last week I started to notice my clothes were becoming a little snug. Now in January I had to start buying clothes because my old ones were becoming too big and were just hanging off of me. I refuse to go out and buy another wardrobe especially bigger sizes. So I'm officially jumping of the Chuck Wagon and reminding myself of the goals I have set for myself. I am determined to reach my goal weight by December 31, 2011
I'm tired of the knee pain the back pain, the being out of breath
So I have added another program to my workout regimen and it is appropriately named Insanity.
OMG I did the Fit test today and it was bananas
The fit test only lasts about 30 minutes but comprises of 8 exercise and the objective is to see how many repetitions you can accomplish in one minute.
Day 1 Fit Test Results
75 Switch Kicks
35 Power Jacks
77 Power Knees
23 Power Jumps
5 Global Jumps
2 Pushup Jacks
13 Plank Obliques
Looking back I started out semi strong and just didn't have the energy nor strength to get more reps with each workout I hope to improve this when I repeat the test in 2 weeks. I have never been a person that sweat much but today I can honestly say I had a small puddle forming. I'm still doing Turbo Fire and Chalean Extreme but at my own pace I'm not trying to over do it but I do love Chalene Johnson's workouts I just want to try Shaun T again. This is a 60 day program and I am going to push my way through these 60 days. I will be posting weekly update photos comparing my progress from week to week. Probably won't blog everyday about what's going on but I will definitely drop in a few times a week with updates and video blogs.
