    I would reccommend lightening up on the exercise a bit. If you are eating a low cal diet and exercising then your body will be inclined to conserve in order to deal with the energy you are using. The protocol says you can exercise, but you should do light not heavy calorie burning like, pilates, yoga, walking, etc...

    It is important to stay on the protocol properly. Record your calories to make sure you are eating Simeon's reccommended 5oo calories. Also when you go to maintenance you must follow it correctly. That is the stage of the diet when your body is establishing a new set point to prevent weight gain. Keep in mind that if you return to the eating habits that got you overweight in the first place you will likely gain the weight back. Getting the weight off is easy with HCG... changing your habits, a bit harder. I did HCG for 4.5 weeks the first time. I did great the first week and then really struggled with staying on protocol. I lost 10-11 pounds, most of which I lost the first 2 weeks obeying protocol and then bounced around the last few pounds during weeks 3-4. I've kept the weight off that I lost when I obeyed the protocol. I dropped 1.5-2 full dress sizes, since most of the weight came off my waist. When I chart what i was eating while on protocol I learned I could have eaten a bit more veggies as I was only consuming about 350 calories, hence the reason I was going nuts from starvation..... I'm doing this again and am on day 2 of fatload. I know what to do this time to make the process less painful and I know what I truly don't like to eat while on HCG. I've learned a lot about myself and I intend to go the distance this time.... Here's to 30 pounds leaving my body :)

    Last year, some people at work got together and tried the HCG diet. They thought it was great at first, but then not so great when they weight came right back on.

    The general consensus was that the HCG diet food was too restrictive, they felt tired most of them time, and doing the HCg diet was an experience that none of them would repeat, or advise others to try.

    Just stay on protocol. Dr. Simeon says in "Pounds and Inches" that water can be going into the cells while fat is going out so it doesn't show on the scale. Do wait four days before doing an "Apple Day" as a plateau is normal. Dr. Simeon says you can stall when you reach a former "set point" weight that you may have been at in the past.

    Women don't own testone to gain muscle in so short time your not eating enough to build muscle.. Weight loss phase and muscle building phases are two different things.. Don't do apple days.. Like sailthlynmimi says fluid retention what muscle you do have needs fluids when used at the gym. Try not to panic.
