crazy times

Saturday, July 02, 2011

The end of the school year is always a crazy time. This year I had the added joy of my daughter's high school graduation! My relatives all came in and we rented a cabin for the weekend. It was tons of fun. Then a week before we left for freshman orientation, my younger daughter fell in tae kwon do and broke her foot. The dr thought it was a sprain and the xray showed nothing wrong. However, after a week of not being able to put weight on the foot, the dr sent her for an MRI which showed 2 hairline fractures, bone bruising, and soft tissue damage. So now her foot is in a stabilizer boot and crutches. Fortunately no cast is needed and her foot seems to be healing fine.

As for me, it seems that I have totally lost it where weight loss is concerned, but I need to change that as my blood pressure has totally skyrocketed. ugh

I fight with eating right too. I keep losing and gaining the same 5 pounds. I refuse to give up. I was doing great at one time and I know I can do it again. You can too. Don't give up on yourself. Hopefully things will start calming down for you and you will be able to do better.

Congratulations on your daughter graduating. I'm confused, Freshman Orientation in June? I'm 2 years from my daughter starting college so I'm not sure how this works, I'm sure you can get back on track. You will be glad to get into a rhythm.
