If I am going to be 100% honest with myself, the reason I am doing this challenge is because I need help and encouragement to reach my goals. Controlling my eating and getting in more exercise is not any fun. I need something to make it fun!
I feel like the reason that I have not been progressing as well as I hoped I would be is because I don't have enough self control and discipline. I cannot control my eating for longer than 3-4 days.
This time, I commit to finishing my challenge because I know that if I can finish this challenge and be successful, I can finish the next challenge. I can finally start making real progress!
I'm scared of failing again and never being able to lose this weight.
I want to move the scale down and get out of my fatter and into my just fat clothes.
But I have faith in - I want to say me, but I don't really have faith in me. I want to! But there is this long history of failure...
And THIS TIME, I will NOT quit, because THIS TIME I'm just going to effin' do it already!!!!!!
My top five non-health related motivations right now are:
1. I need new clothes.
2. I want my Wii to stop telling me I'm obese.
3. I don't want to be a fat fifty.
4. I want to feel better about myself.
5. If I'm in a burning building, I don't want the fireman to have trouble carrying me out.
The best way to motivate me is to hold me accountable.
The best way I can motivate myself is to stay positive by any means necessary - look up motivational quotes, hang out on my SP teams, whatever it takes - don't give in to the negative self-talk.
