Low-carbing and running

Well, I read Gary Taubes's books and I think I'm reasonably convinced. I've been eating high-fat, low-carb (I'm a vegetarian so that means lots of legumes - not exactly according to Atkins). I've also made it to week 7 of the Couch to 5K, running 25 minutes on Monday and also today. I'm pretty happy with myself right now even though I'm not losing much weight.
One thing I learned from those books was to forgive myself for putting the weight back on. I was literally starving and no wonder I went into an eating frenzy. Too bad it was mostly carbs, but now I know better.
